The Path of Yudu
The Seed of Light Unity Temple was formed to cultivate the Higher Mind of humanity through education, spiritual practice and honoring The One True and Living God that lives within the hearts and minds of humanity. We assist our community in realigning with the oneness of self.
We follow the path of Yudu. The word Yudu is an acronym for Your Universal Divine Uniqueness and the practice combines elements from several different world views on religion and spirituality.
For example, from Christianity, we borrow from the true teachings of Christ which teach us how to align our Will with the Will of Divine Intelligence through an illuminated consciousness and an expanded heart space. From Islam, we too set aside sacred times throughout the day to commune with Divinity. Buddhism teaches us mindfulness and meditation, while from our Hindi brothers and sisters, we have learned how to tune our personal frequencies with the Universal Rhythm through mantras, chanting, and yoga.
Rastafarian culture shows us how to live clean, eat healthily, cultivate for ourselves, and express ourselves creatively. Our African-based traditions have shown us the way to our ancestors and the hidden realms through ritual and magic. And five percenters taught us knowledge of self and supreme wisdom, for which we are eternally grateful.
Yuduism does not require you to stay fixed in one spiritual position or another. Rather it encourages you to be free-flowing and follow the path that you were destined to travel. It requires that you consistently work towards developing your consciousness to the highest level achievable by YOU in this lifetime.
You become a Yudi once you have mastered the spiritual levels that you were meant to master before becoming a healer, teacher, or "passer of the flame".
